Georgia O'Keeffe has been a major figure in American art since the 1920s when she first exhibited her now familiar abstract flower paintings. In 1946, she made history as the first woman to have a solo exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art. Learn more about this notoriously independent, freethinking artist in a presentation that examines her early career, her legendary partnership with Alfred Stieglitz, and the creative achievements that made her one of the most original artists of the 20th century.
