Skill Levels: All Levels
What is the difference between design and fine art? A piece of furniture can be as much a work of art as a painting is a design first. This class will teach students the basic elements and principles that must be followed to create 2D and 3D art forms. Learn a new way of looking at two dimensional surfaces (painting) and three dimensional objects (sculpture and products) to interpret what is communicated through them. Based on specific concepts, the class assignments are hands on practice and application of these concepts. The class also involves group discussions to make it into a collectively positive learning experience.
This class is designed to accommodate students of all levels from first time art students to advanced artists. Ages 17 and up.
