Did you know that metal clay and colorful, dichroic glass cabochons can be combined in a piece of jewelry and fired together in a kiln? Do you make fused glass cabochons and are tired of ready-made glued on bails falling off? Then come learn how to make dichroic glass cabochons and set them in silver metal clay in this fun four-class series January 14 - February 4 (four hours each week). You will learn how to cut, grind to shape, stack glass for earrings, pendants, and other types of jewelry. Glass firing schedules will be discussed. A simple bail as well as several options for setting glass in metal clay along with the firing schedules used for each type of setting and finishing your metal clay jewelry will be taught.
