This course introduces one of the most basic forms of printing. By painting and drawing on a plexiglass plate using oil based inks, students will explore the delightfully unique marks that only printmaking can provide. Using oil based inks, a handful of low tech tools and the “gentle giant” (DFAC’s mighty etching press) students will create one-of-a-kind prints using just a plexiglass plate and a handful of low-tech tools.
Ages 17 and up.
