The first 4 weeks will be dedicated to exploring some very basic teapot forms - slight variations on creating all the pieces necessary in making a functional teapot. Week 5 will be dedicated to preparing the pieces for crystalline glaze or other more utilitarian glazes. Week 6 will be focused on glazing and loading the kiln for a crystalline glaze firing.
Ages 17 and up. Intermediate throwing skills are necessary for this class - beginners are welcome but may get more out of a class dedicated to learning the basics.
Please note, this class will start on Saturday, January 8, and skip Monday, January 10.
