This workshop is currently limited to one student per scheduled date.
This workshop meets on a Saturday, Sunday, and the following Saturday. Students will learn how to start and maintain a forge fire, and learn how to heat treat metal to create a knife by anvil and hammer. All tools and materials included. Students must be 16 years of age or older. Students should come with safety glasses, leather gloves, long pants, cotton shirts and sturdy closed toe shoes.

Students will learn welding techniques in mild steel and aluminum. Learn Mig (wire feed) and Tig (tungsten Inert Gas) welding, as well as the basics of welding equipment set-up, maintenance, and safety procedures. All welding materials furnished. Please note this course teaches techniques only; students will not be completing a personal project.
Students must be 16 or older. Bring leather gloves, wear long pants and good safety shoes. No flip flops or tennis shoes! Class meets three times - Saturday & Sunday and followed by another Saturday.
